DNU is a Leading University in Dnipro and the Central Region of Ukraine

According to the results of the Consolidated Ranking of Higher Educational Establishments of Ukraine in 2023, compiled by the educational information resource Osvita.UA, Oles Honchar Dnipro National University has been recognized as the best university in Dnipro and the Central region of Ukraine again. The traditional annual ranking of Ukrainian universities covered the results of 239 higher education institutions this time. DNU has improved its position by 6 positions and has risen from the 20th place (2022) to 14-15, having gained the same number of points as Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University. As at the previous year's rankings, the data from the most authoritative national rankings of higher educational establishments among experts and the media were used to compile the Consolidated Ranking of Ukrainian Universities in 2023: Scopus "TOP-200 Ukraine" and "NMT Score for Contract", each of which used different criteria for evaluation. In fact, Dnipro National University demonstrated the highest positions among regional universities and, by the sum of points, confidently placed at the top of the ranking of universities in Dnipro and the Central region of Ukraine. Traditionally, DNU also entered the TOP-10 classical universities of Ukraine, where it ranks 9th.
