DNU and the UCM-Italy Association: Continuing Practical Cooperation

On the 25th of September, Oles Honchar Dnipro National University was visited by Paolo Brescia, the President of the UCM-Italy Association “Mediterranean Chefs Union – Italy” (Foggia, Italy). This is the third visit of the head of the Association to DNU since the establishment of a productive partnership.

Meeting the partner, the Rector of the University Sergiy Okovytyy and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics Tetyana Grynko noted that for two years the Association has provided excellent opportunities for students and teachers of DNU to acquire new skills, both directly in their specialty and soft skills in communication competencies, cultural knowledge, as well as psychological relief in sunny Italy in such a difficult time.

– In October 2021, our organizations signed a cooperation agreement. The purpose of the joint international project is to provide practical training for the Ukrainian tourism industry in order to develop it into a powerful industry. So students of the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Economics of DNU are undergoing internships in Italy, – says the rector.
