Waiting for the days of Austria at DNU

Doctor of Sciences Jakub Forst-Battaglia, Minister attached to the Embassy of Austria in Ukraine, Director of the Austrian Cultural Forum visited Dnepropetrovsk National University.

Students of faculty of Ukrainian & Foreign Languages and Arts attended a lecture of Dr. Forst-Battaglia on "The Solemn decline" - spiritual and social aspects in Habsbug monarchy in the turn of the century." After the lecture, Minister-Counsellor answered questions from students regarding training opportunities in Austria for Master's degree.

Today DNU is a partner of Danube University from the city of Krems on implementation of European Tempus project "Networking of universities - partners in the implementation of multi-level training and professional development in the field of educational management." The experience and technical equipment of the program allowed to develop the forms and methods of training and professional development of pedagogical specialties, "- said the rector of DNU.

Dr. Forst-Battaglia was impressed by such diverse cooperation, because autonomy of Austrian universities doesn't suppose such information to by summarized at the Embassy. "But our relations should continue to expand, especially within the academic student exchanges so that young Austrians and Ukrainians could visit eachother, expanded cross-cultural and interpersonal relations, - said Minister-Counsellor. - I like to communicate with your students, they are really new "quality" generation in Ukraine. They understand that their hands keep the responsibility for Ukraine."
