On November 22-24, the XXI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Mathematical and Software of Intelligent Systems” dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the university was held at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of DNU.
The popular forum of specialists in the field of applied mathematics, artificial intelligence and multiprocessor computer systems has become a tradition. Oles Honchar Dnipro National University holds it together with the V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Institute of Applied Systems Analysis of NTUU “KPI” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and MalevichStudio OÜ, an Estonian IT company.
The professional conference made it possible for young scientists and experienced prominent specialists to communicate and exchange views. In 2023, the event was attended by 247 representatives of higher education institutions, scientific and research institutions from Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Poland, and the United States, who submitted 170 abstracts for discussion.
The participants of the conference were warmly welcomed by Rector of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Sergiy Okovytyy and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of DNU Olena Kiselyova. They wished fruitful and creative work to all participants and expressed confidence that their professional reports, messages and discussions, new ideas, views and concepts would contribute to both generalizing scientific approaches and developing recommendations for further improving mathematical and software of intelligent systems and innovative development of the IT sector in Ukraine.
