On September 30 and October 28, 2023, Ukraine hosted the first and second stages of the All-Ukrainian Student Team Programming Olympiad AUCPC, which is a part of the International Student Team Programming Olympiad ICPC.
The Olympiad was held remotely. The first stage was attended by 632 teams from higher and secondary educational institutions of Ukraine. Students participated out of competition.
The honor of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University was defended by 10 teams: nine teams from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics (coached by Associate Professors Oleksandr Khyzha and Hanna Mykhalchuk) and one team from the Faculty of Physics, Electronics and Computer Systems (coached by Associate Professor Olha Spyrintseva).
According to the results of the first stage, three teams from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of DNU won and advanced to the second stage of the Olympiad.
The participants of the teams were: students M. Blazhko, M. Poberezhnyi, S. Moskalenko, N. Andrushko, D. Kurbanov, D. Khorsun, F. Guliev, M. Nikiforenko, M. Slusar and coach - Associate Professor O. Khyzha.
The second stage of the Olympiad was attended by 272 teams. According to the results of the competition, the DNU team “Yellow_Orange” won the right to participate in the Final of Ukraine, which has the status of 1/2 of the Student World Programming Championship in South-Eastern Europe.
The DNU_Yellow_Orange team consisted of students M. Blazhko, M. Poberezhnyi, S. Moskalenko and coach - Associate Professor O. Khyzha.
