From October 25 to 27, the IV Dragon Boat World Cup was held in Miluo (China), where Dmytro Smirnov-Venislavskyi, a student of the Faculty of Physics, Electronics and Computer Systems of DNU, took part in the national team of Ukraine.
Now Dmytro is a third-year student.
The cup competition was attended by 12 of the world's best teams according to the results of 2024. The international tournament was held in the city where this kind of sport originated.
As a result of the races, the Ukrainian national rowing team on the boats “Dragon” won a license for the World Games which will be held in 2025 in Chengdu, China.
