Oleksandra Mazur, a fourth-year student majoring in Social Work, conducted the first practical lesson for the integration of Ukrainian IDPs (refugees) in the city of Lodz (Poland) as part of the UNICEF project.
A student of the Department of Social Work and Management of Social Processes of DNU, due to circumstances caused by the war in Ukraine, is currently living in the Polish city of Lodz. Recently, Oleksandra presented her own ideas there on improving the social integration of Ukrainian women-migrants through the development of online tools. After one of such presentations, our student received an offer from UNICEF representatives to hold a practical event on this topic for Ukrainian women who are currently forced to adapt to a new environment. After all, many displaced women from Ukraine are trying to develop their businesses in Poland - to maintain pages on social networks and create high-quality video content, but they need help with this.
Oleksandra Mazur's first author's lesson within the framework of the "Women in Lodz" initiative took place on November 19. The lesson program was based on both the practical skills that the girl acquired while studying at the Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, and thanks to her self-development in the field of content marketing.
